Margaret Mayo McGlynn is a Young Adult novelist, graphic designer, and copywriter. She grew up as a nerd in New Jersey and spent summers as a mermaid in Bermuda. Studying creative writing with Joyce Carol Oates at Princeton, she cut her fiction teeth as an editorial novice at Silhouette Books and Rod Serling’s The Twilight Zone Magazine. She has a B.A. in Art History and an M.A. in Psychology. She has a diverse background in publishing as an editor, writer and copywriter, and in entertainment as a copywriter and graphic designer. She adores all things magical: C.S. Lewis, Madeleine L’Engle, Tanith Lee, Michael Moorcock, Andre Norton, Patricia McKillip, John Green and Leigh Bardugo, among many others.
